Baapuji Chana Sattu Is Here: The Farmer's Breakfast Comes Home

Long before protein powders lined shop shelves, farmers across North India carried a small cloth potli of sattu to the fields. Mixed with well water, a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of rock salt, it was breakfast, lunch and energy drink in one glass. Today, we are proud to bring that same sattu to your kitchen with the launch of Baapuji Chana Sattu.

How we make it Our sattu starts with desi black chana bought directly from farmers. The chana is slow-roasted in heavy iron kadhais over a wood fire until it turns nutty and fragrant. It is then ground on a stone chakki by women in our partner villages, in small batches, so the flour stays fresh and full of aroma. We add nothing else - no maida, no preservatives, no artificial flavour.

Why families love sattu Sattu is naturally rich in plant protein and fibre, keeps you full for hours and is easy on the stomach. It suits almost everyone - schoolkids, office-goers, gym lovers and elders alike.

Three easy ways to use it 1. Sattu sharbat: 2 spoons of sattu, cold water, lemon, roasted jeera and salt. Or make it sweet with jaggery. 2. Sattu paratha: mix sattu with onion, green chilli, mustard oil and ajwain, stuff into atta dough and roast. 3. Sattu laddoo: blend sattu with melted desi ghee and powdered jaggery, then roll into laddoos.

The launch offer To celebrate, we are giving a flat 20% off on your first Chana Sattu order. You can also pick the Sattu Shakti Jodi - 1 kg sattu with 500 g desi jaggery at a special combo price, the classic pairing for a sweet sharbat.

The offer runs only until 5 October 2026, or until our first batch sells out. Since we mill in small quantities, the first batch is limited.
